There are a wide range of Echeveria laui Hybrids. Some are specifically bred for their distinctive leaf color and form. In fact, Echeveria laui is extensively hybridized. And for good reason.
Laui and its hybrids are generally pretty easy to care for. Most of the hybrids still have a powdery layer of farina on them. This farina not only gives them their pastel look, but also protects them against harsh environmental effects and pests. Additionally, the farina adds a protective layer against sunburn.
